The Hastings Women's Law Journal presents its annual symposium - Beyond Prevention: The Obstacles in Defeating HIV.

Although modern medicine has made great strides in attempting to eliminate HIV. There are still many obstacles that HIV-positive persons face in their daily lives. Beyond Prevention will focus on obstacles such as healthcare access and sexual education, employment discrmination of HIV-positive persons, and the criminalization of HIV. 

Among the organizations scheduled to appear are: Lambda Legal, HIV Positive Women's Network, Black Treatment Advocates Network, Squire, Patton, & Boggs, Legal Aid Society - Employment Law Center, and SF AIDS Foundation.

Keynote speaker: POZ Magazine founder, Executive Director of the SERO Project, and HIV activist Sean Strub.

1. Directions to campus

The symposium is located at the 200 McAllister St San Francisco, CA 94102 on the 2nd floor. We will have signage directing you to the Alumni Reception Center.
